Uses of cookies
- A cookie is used to store whether a user has agreed to the cookie notice. This prevents users from having to see the cookie-notice popup every time the site is visited.
- A cookie is used to indicate whether a user is logged in. This prevents logged-in users from having to log in every time a new page is visited or data are requested from our servers.
- Cookies are used to send anonymous information to Google Analytics. This lets Essy view how many people are visiting the site, which pages they're viewing, how frequently various features are used, and other general usage patterns. None of the collected data are linked to any identifying information.
